As we move closer to the end of the month, we hope it has been running so smooth for you, if not, every other single day brings you the opportunity to try again.  More people are making a contribution to humanity:  Meet Kemigisha Phionah another Selfless woman giving hope to the vulnerable.   Kemigisha Phiona is  a 24-Year old Ugandan Citizen, God fearing , kind hearted, hardworking, a natural leader, creative, and enthusiastic. Phionah is a leadership and possibilities Coach.  She  works with two organisations : Unicef and Trailblazers mentoring foundation  that are directly concerned with  reaching out to  children across the globe, the safety and well being of both young and old women in Uganda. She is the founder of Grace children and Women’s Foundation and a business woman who operates a  juice shop.  What inspired you to do the things you are currently doing? We continue to share stories of people from all over the world that are living beyond themselves.  Our light today is on Alok Jacob, a passionate humanitarian making the lives of teenage mothers, orphans   and the elderly better in Lira, Northern Uganda. Alok Jackob is the program manager of Plan for the village’s organization- Uganda based in Lira District Northern Uganda.  He is also a cohort 35 YALI RLC East Africa alumni. He shares with us about the amazing work he is doing in his community. What was your inspiration to do the things you are doing?   I was touched when I was moving around in one of the villages in my sub county, when I met a young girl of 16 years carrying a baby.
