Letter to Mama
It's still heartwarming, the letters and stories we are getting from all walks of life as we celebrate the mother figures in our lives.
Hearty thanks to everyone sending in a letter, a story, a quote, and, a photo. It all matters because every mom and every story is worth celebrating.
Today's letter reminds us of the power of noticing - noticing the beauty, and scarifies our mothers make everyday.
I trust that the Lord has kept you well.
I am writing this letter as a token of thanks for who you are to me and for what you have done for me.
I am highly grateful for the values you have not only instilled in me but also for how you are very practical with them in your own-to-day living.
This is evident in the way you wake us up early every morning and have a family devotional before each one of us goes about their day.
Memories of you correcting us linger on and on in my mind. You first instruct with kindness before you apply " mutereeza—haha, - which is the cane. 😂😂😂.
I can never forget the times you carried us on your back when our bodies were acting up. The vomit you mopped, the damp cloth you put on our bodies to help cool our temperature.
Oh Mama!!!!! You are literally everything to us., doctor , a chef, a lawyer, a teacher, a friend, a confidant, to mention but a few.
It is an honor for me to be yours.
Yours truly
Belicia Hannah Beyo
